Oakwood Beavers - A Moment To Be Proud Of!

Oakwood Beavers had the honour of a special visit from the Chairman of the Royal British Legion, who came to share some wonderful news about the thank you pictures the Beavers had created for VE Day.

She explained how the artwork, which the Beavers designed with care and thoughtfulness, were received with great appreciation at the veterans' tea party held last week. The pictures were a heartfelt gesture, and the veterans were deeply touched by the Beavers' kindness and creativity.

To show her gratitude, the Chairman presented the Beavers with a Certificate of Thanks, a rare and meaningful recognition. In fact, she mentioned that this was the first certificate she had awarded this year, making it an even more special moment for the Beavers.
