Helping Hands at Hamlet Wood

On Saturday 18th July, the Oakwood Beavers visited Hamlet Wood to take part in a mini work party. The Beavers were delighted to lend a helping hand to Amanda, the Campsite Warden and her team, starting the day by giving the site's tractor a well-deserved wash.

Afterwards, they enjoyed exploring the woodland, learning more about the important conservation work that takes place there.

A particular highlight of the visit was the opportunity to meet some of the wood's resident bats and discover fascinating facts about these amazing nocturnal creatures. It was a fun, educational, and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
