Donation To Young Lives Foundation

On 23rd July, adult and youth representatives from Maidstone West and Maidstone East Scouts proudly presented a cheque for £474 to the Young Lives Foundation (YLF) - their chosen charity for the year.

The funds were raised during the Scouts St. George’s Day Parade on 27th April, a well-attended annual event that encourages community spirit and brings both districts together.

The Scout representatives were welcomed to YLF’s head office, where they met with Stephen Gray, CEO of the charity, and Amy, the Fundraising Coordinator. The team at YLF expressed their gratitude for the donation and praised the Scouts’ commitment to supporting vulnerable young people in Kent.

The Young Lives Foundation is an award-winning children’s charity based in Maidstone that supports disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young adults across the county.
